| Bart used to be a normal kid who lived with his normal parents and acted like a normal teenager, more or less. "So a couple years ago, there was like, this accident, right? And there was this huge flash of light... and my body went into overdrive." After which he discovered he could run. Fast. Faster than the human eye can catch. And then, because it's what he does best... he ran away from his family. (Or so he claims.) "Their son got zapped into a human lightning bolt, that's what happened. I mean, they made this whole big deal about everything... That it was gonna be okay, and that... I don't know, man, you should've seen the way they looked at me, you know?" He started using his powers to steal his way through life, planning to one day make it big time. And then he met Clark Kent, a do-gooder who planted a seed of doubt and- dare we say?- heroism in young Bart, and since then he's... kept on stealing. But he's also dipping his toe into the metaphorical waters of superheroism. Look, it's not easy, okay? |

| At first glance, Bart looks like your average teenager. Since being struck by lightning, he is capable of moving at superspeed. While it's not technically a superpower, he can also pack away a lunch large enough to feed three or more people. Bart also has a Lichtenberg figure scar on his back.
